Shelford is committed to delivering a quality education for each student through High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS), proven to increase student learning, as well as an engaging and challenging curriculum.
In our Junior School there are explicit literacy and numeracy programs, and in our Senior School an emphasis on developing discipline knowledge, skills and understanding. These exist alongside sequenced learning activities that are inquiry based, student focused, differentiated and incorporate the key competencies and learner capabilities.
