Vale Marcia Eileen Davis

Shelford Girls’ Grammar is saddened to announce the passing of a beloved past member of staff Marcia Eileen Davis. Marcia was an integral member of the Resource Centre staff from 1983 to 2010 and worked with her daughter-in-law Clare who was a primary school teacher at Shelford for some years too. Marcia was highly respected for her loyalty and commitment to the School, for her active, energetic and loyal involvement in School activities, ceremonies and functions and for her AV help in the classroom and beyond. Marcia is remembered as a warm, joyous and loving friend. Following her departure from Shelford, Marcia stayed in contact with her colleagues and many of her pastoral care students. Shelford staff who worked with Marcia fondly remember her adventurous spirit, love of travel and the wonderful posts she put on Facebook about them as well as her dynamic spirit. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Marcia’s family and friends and to our extended Shelford community.
